摘要
Nanocrystalline Zn0.925Mn0.025Fe0.05O thin films were deposited on glass substrates by r.f. sputtering in pure argon gas environment. The average grain sizes of the films decrease with increase in thickness. The optical transmission studies show the films to be highly transparent (75-90%). The direct energy band gap decreases from 3.78 to 3.40 eV with increase in thickness of the film. The room temperature micro Raman spectra show the optical phonon modes at 754, 788 and 1098 cm(-1).
