摘要：

The research on the relationship of the Energy and economic growth has been a hotspot both in domestic and foreign countries. It is universally accepted that energy is the main driver of economic growth, and it can promote the economic growth in view of the above theoretical basis, the paper gives a empirical analysis of the relationship between economic growth and energy supply with the data of Jiangxi Province's GDP, energy consumption and energy production from 1990 to 2009. The result of the paper shows that: in Jiangxi province, both the energy consumption and the energy supply have a significant one-way Granger causality effective on the economic growth. The energy consumption and energy supply have promoted the rapid economic growth; The energy consumption and energy production have a long-term Co integration relationship with GDP. Finally, we make policy recommendations to the energy bottleneck of Jiangxi Province.
