The effect of crystallization on the basicity in the system Li2O-2SiO2

摘要
The paper presents the stuck of the crystallization influence on the basicity in the Li2O center dot 2SiO(2) glass. The quantitative methods were used for the basicity determination of the oxide glasses. The Li2O-2SiO(2) samples were thermally, treated at 560 degrees C. for 20, 30, 55, 95 minutes in presence and in obsence of Cu2+ as indicator The experimental results showed that when the crystallinity degree increases, the wavenumber of the Cu2+ absorption decreases corresponding to a higher basicity of samples. It was observed an increasing of the maximum diameter of crysallites and a decreasing of the crystallization speed with the extension of the thermal treatment time at 560 degrees C.
