Analysis of organic gas response for ultra-thin LB films

摘要
In this research, the adsorption and desorption behavior of organic vapor was investigated by using quartz crystal analyzer. The resonant admittance shift of quartz crystal was due to the penetration of organic vapor into sensitive material or to a qualitative change of the sensitive material. Thus, we considered a new gas-sensing system and an analytical method to investigate the mechanism between the organic vapor and the sensitive material. Also, we used the F-A (resonant frequency-resonant admittance) diagram to analyze the mechanism between the organic gas and the sensitive material. As a result, different response patterns were observed for various kinds of organic vapors.
