In the title compound, C27H30O14 center dot H2O, the hydroxyphenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 20.05 (11)degrees with the chromenone ring system. The crystal structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. The absolute configuration was assigned on the basis of an analagous structure.
