摘要
We demonstrate that there are promising possibilities for generating singular beams that bear optical vortices with the aid of parametric optical effects. These effects can arise in single crystals subjected to inhomogeneous mechanical stresses and electric fields. Another technique is acousto-optic or acousto-gyration interactions in single crystals. We reveal the resources for controlling the efficiency of spin-to-orbital angular momentum conversion by the external fields and controlling spatially the vortex beams with acousto-optic interactions.
