摘要
The wide expansion of smartphones gives the opportunity for an almost forgotten technology: the augmented reality (AR). The dynamic development of handheld devices with strong computing capacity made possible groundbreaking changes in the way how we interact and manage data today. In the introduction of our study we present the technology behind the augmented reality. Then we discuss the business opportunities and explore the joint areas of smartphones and augmented reality. At the end of our study we analyze smartphone applications and demonstrate the short- and long-term opportunities of AR.
