Study on the Minimum Ecological Water Level of Bosten Lake Wetland in Xinjiang

摘要
Bosten Lake is China's largest inland freshwater lake, the continuing decline in the water level of Bosten Lake in recent years cause the lake water quality degradation, shrinkage of wetlands, biodiversity loss. In order to protect the ecological environment of Bosten Lake wetland, the minimum ecological water level should be determined imminently, which is an important content of ecological protection of the Lake wetland and water resources regulation. Research showed that for protection of Bosten Lake wetland ecological environment, it was needed to keep the minimum ecological water level in 1047.41m. The corresponding minimum ecological water area is 1081km(2). Once the lake water level of Bosten Lake is lower than the minimum ecological water level, the wetland ecological environment will suffer a serious threat.
