摘要
Virtual Experiment has advantages over physical laboratory at many aspects. Virtual Experiment has advantages over physical laboratory at many aspects. Nowadays virtual experiments are mostly stand-alone applications without standard interface, which are difficult to reuse. This paper analyzed the system architecture of distributed virtual laboratory, studied the structure, function and characteristics of a simulation chip, and built a virtual instrument model library based on component which is scalable and can be reused easily. On this basis, a network environment Computer Principle Virtual Laboratory (CPVL) system is presented. This system was designed based on B/S mode. It is developed with Java language, which makes it independent of operating system. The client part is implemented with Java Applet. All the virtual instruments are developed as component and implemented as Java Beans so that this system is scalable and gets good performance in software reuse. The CPVL system has provided a simulation environment to the long-distance student. It can satisfy the computer principle experiment's request, and it is helpful for the students to understand and master the structure and theory of computer hardware.
