摘要
A comparative study regarding air pollution with PM2.5 and PM10 in Tg-Jiu in 2014 was performed taking into account that Tg-Jiu is one of the most recognized polluted city in Romania. The major sources of PM2.5 and PM10 in Tg-Jiu are motor vehicles, coal combustion, secondary aerosols and industrial sources mainly mining activities. Standardized methods were used for sampling and measurements of PM2.5 and PM10 in air samples. The results revealed that the smallest sized particles (PM2.5) were characterized by daily and seasonal concentrations variation smaller than PM10 particles. Annual concentrations calculated for PM10 and PM2.5 for the period analyzed were below the permitted limit values. The values of the PM2.5 and PM10 concentration in air can be explained by meteorological factors such as temperature, air pressure, relative humidity and wind direction.
