Demonstration of long distance transmission with rectenna array using 300kW-class 28GHz Gyrotron

摘要
To demonstrate the high-power millimeter wave WPT, the class F-load rectenna array was used with a 28 GHz 300 kW-class Gyrotron. As a result, the output DC power and the transmission efficiency for 0.9 m distance and 52.9 kW input were respectively 1.05 W and 2.30 %. Results reveal that 90 m transmission distance was obtained considering the attenuator. In terms of the input power and the operation frequency, the present work showed the remarkable WPT demonstration as compared with the previous studies.
