Assessing the financial risks of e-logistics implementation in transport and logistics sectors

摘要：
This study proposes a Bayesian model to evaluate the financial risks of e-logistics implementations for companies in transport and logistics sectors. Empirical test in Taiwan shows that the financial risks are similar between adopters and non-adopters for most of the e-logistics systems. However, companies with RFID installed seem to have higher financial risks than the non-adopters. Scenario analysis of e-logistics systems also implies that the RFID implementation could increase the risk of financial crises. Analysis suggests companies in the transport and logistics sectors could ease the worries on the investment of c-logistics systems except the application of RFID technology.
