摘要
This paper describes the application of a thin-wire TLM approach to the simulation of wave propagation in an overhead wire with a ground return. An outline of the formulation of the thin-wire technique is given. The characteristic impedances and propagation coefficients of overhead lines are calculated for various typical ground properties. The results are similar to those reported in the literature obtained from analytic formulations.
