摘要
A straightforward and economic method for the synthesis of ferrocene-containing quinolines by the Ce(OTf)(3)-catalyed one-pot three-component domino cyclization/aromatization reaction of ferrocenylacetylene, aldehydes, and amines under an air atmosphere was developed. A series of ferrocene substituted quinolines have been synthesized from simple and readily available starting materials in good yields. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
