摘要
Both carbide slag and inferior fly ash are industrial waste residues. In the study, the waste residues have been successfully used as the road base materials in the renewal project of national highway 318 that is a high-grade highway by adding a little caustic soda flake and ardealite as activator. The laboratorial research results have showed that the best mix proportion of base materials is: carbide slag: fly ash is 1: 2; the quality percentage content of the activator which calculated based on the total mass of fly ash and carbide slag is 6wt%, caustic soda flake: ardealite=1:2 and binding material: gravelly soil=40:60 to 50:50. In this condition, the compress strength and Young models of seven day of the base materials have achieved the design objective of cement stabilized material.
