摘要
Sum-difference network is used as an important device for millimeter radar and electronic countermeasures system, this paper proposes a kind of design plan based on 90 degrees coupling bridge and waveguide space transition planar sum-difference network, and utilize ADS & HFSS software to simulate and optimize design model to get a compact sum-difference network design circuit. By means of micro-package technology and wave guide shell processing accuracy control, creates two-way comparator object which dimension is 50mm x 25mm x 15mm, and analyzes the effects of port matching on design. Test result indicates that the two-way sum-difference network has the advantage of easy structure, good port amplitude consistency, low standing waves etc. meets direction finding demand which is based on phased array millimeter radar/electronic countermeasures system.
