State of limiting equilibrium of cracked bodies for mixed macromechanisms of fracture

On the basis of the-balance of works of plastic strains and fracture in a plastic zone formed near the crack front in an elastoplastic body, we establish and experimentally check analytic criteria of the limiting state and determine the direction of initial propagation of cracks under the conditions of complex stressed states in the case of possible realization of three macromechanisms; (modes I + II + III) simultaneously. The proposed criteria are checked by using experimental procedures specially developed for the realization of the macromechanisms of fracture.
