Laparoscopic surgery is rapidly becoming the standard of care for a variety of urological conditions, including those affecting the renal transplant recipient. This article. presents the general considerations in performing laparoscopic procedures in the transplant recipient, followed by various specific applications including their indications, technical considerations and a review of the results.
