This paper describes planning and implementation of a state-of-the-art on-line degree program Master of Science in Software Engineering. The uniqueness of the program stems from its process-centered curriculum and cohort based student grouping. Both the coursework and student projects share the common curricular thread which is based on the CMMI model while well-grounded in software engineering research and practice. The paper explains program objectives, delivery settings, its audience, curriculum, and assessment methods. Additionally, our preliminary experience and the feed back from the first group of students are presented
