摘要
Currently multilevel inverters are commonly modulated using multi-carrier pulse width modulation (MCPWM) techniques due to its simple implementation and realization to various topologies. Simplified simulation modeling of several MCPWM techniques for 'n' level generation is discussed in this paper. Modulation techniques are presented for 5-level cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) and compared to show the feasibility of the techniques having low THD. The simulation results of the modulation techniques are presented in MATLAB/Simulink environment to prove the viability of the schemes.
