摘要
This paper presents a study of a steady-state stability analysis with integrating a wind turbine to a standard power network, where an open-source software is used to model the system. The IEEE 9 bus system is simulated using the OpenModelica software. The steady-state stability analysis study of the system is performed with and without using an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and Speed Governor (GOV) controllers. The steady-state impact of integrating a wind turbine is investigated. Moreover, the voltage dependency of the wind turbine power is examined. The significance of the analysis results provided by the OpenModelica software is discussed. The open-source software OpenModelica application in this study proved to be a user friendly software that is capable of modelling and analyzing a power system network in a timely manner.
