摘要：

The imitation of foreign industrial eco-chain makes the Industrial Ecology (IE) only a formality and ends up in an awkward situation of being "ecological", but not "profitable", which cannot ensure the achievement of the goal of coordinating economic development with the protection of resource and environment. In this paper, the authors stress that regional difference is a new point for IE research, and it may be much helpful for the applications of IE in China. By broadly classifying 30 provinces (cities) of China into different regions, the authors propose the path of industrial ecology for each typical region.
