摘要
The mechanical properties of commercially pure (CP) titanium can be improved by controlled additions of the interstitial elements oxygen (O), nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) as well as iron without sacrificing ductility. Increasing the iron content leads to a refinement of the equiaxed alpha-grain size and in addition imparts a low rate of work hardening. A deformation texture that is not affected by changes in composition is observed.
