摘要:
The reaction of natural or synthetic earth pigments with lipid binders has been reported by numerous authors. However, there has not been a systematic study of the reactivity of earth pigments used in artists' colours and industrial points. This work contains a study of 30 earth pigments used in industrial points and artists' colours, it proves their reactivity with linseed oil and the formation (or not) of metallic soaps, which, thereafter, could act as driers in the complex processes of drying and polymerization of the binder to form a pigmented film.
