摘要
The problem of developing a professional culture model is acute in the university language course which trains future professionals as prospective participants of cross cultural communication in a professional context. Such a model will help the educator to present a microcosm of the target culture which possesses systematic character of its organization and contents. Systematic approach and information-semiotic approach have been applied in the research to develop a methodological model of a professional culture. The proposed model includes six elements: cultural sphere of professional activity, complex of professional culture objects, complex of professional culture subjects, semiotic sphere of professional culture, the dimensions of professional sociocultural communication and professional cross cultural communication. The paper describes in detail the model as a system consisting of a definite set of interconnected elements and interacting with the external objects influencing the system. The given methodological model allows instructors to adequately present the studied culture and to further develop theory related to textbooks for studying a foreign language and culture.
