An energy- and resource-conserving technology was developed for obtaining decorative plasma coatings on sheet glass using finely ground glass powder based on colored container glass and high-quality-glass cullet. The possibility of using outgoing plasma-forming gases for preliminary heating of sheet glass prior to plasma spraying of finely ground glass powders was substantiated and confirmed in practice. A number of operational and physicomechanical characteristics of sheet glass with sprayed coatings were investigated.
