摘要
A small colony of rabbits has become established on Mt Ruapehu, in the central North Island, New Zealand, at almost twice the normal altitudinal limit for the species. This may be a result of reduced snow-cover following volcanic eruptions in 1995 and 1996, or an indication of general climatic warming.
