摘要
Automatic gain control (AGC) circuit is the core of underwater acoustic signal receiver, and low power consumption and low noise are its development direction and research hotspot. In this paper, the basic design principle of automatic gain amplifier is analyzed, and the various implementation methods of AGC are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods are compared and analyzed. The characteristics of high performance low power AGC circuit based on AD8338 are studied emphatically, and the corresponding design and application suggestions arc put forward.
