Fluorescence Cascades of Water and Carbon Dioxide in the Emission Spectrum of Comet 9P/Tempel 1

摘要
A simplified algorithm to compute the infrared fluorescence cascade of molecules in cometary conditions is presented. This method could be applied to observations of 9P/Tempel 1. by Deep Impact and to future cometary infrared observations such as those of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko by Rosetta/VIRTIS. Results are presented for water and carbon dioxide.
