Electron-phonon interaction of molecular impurity centers in ionic crystals

摘要
Low-temperature resonance Raman scattering on internal and localized modes of a tetrahedral molecule doped into different alkali halide crystals have been studied. The optical absorption spectrum with well resolved vibronic structure and the resonance Raman excitation profiles of vibrations of different symmetry yielded the main constants of electron-phonon coupling The theoretical and experimental investigation of the frequency dependencies of the Raman intensitie for non-totally symmetric local vibrations suggests a significant role of the Jahn-Teller and Herzberg-Teller mechanisms of electron-phonon coupling.
