摘要
This paper proposes a dynamic MAC scheduling scheme for MPEG-4 based multimedia services in 802.15.3 high-rate WPAN. The design objective of the proposed scheme is to reduce the channel time wastage and the frame drop, which are the main weakpoints of the existing schemes. Using this scheme, the requested channel time is determined dynamically adapting to the variation of the MPEG4 frame size. The mathematical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that our scheme outperforms other schemes significantly.
