摘要
This is the first report describing the use of picosecond time-resolved infrared (TRIR) spectroscopy to probe a d(8) metal chromophore, Pt(4,4'-(CO2Et)(2)-2,2'-bpy)Cl-2: monitoring changes in the nu(CO) vibrations allows for an assignment of the lowest excited state to an MLCT with an 8.7 ps lifetime.
