摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the benefits and costs associated with construction of additional taxiways at a mid-sized airport. The methodology uses an origin-destination table to describe aircraft traffic patterns between the hanger facilities and runways. The benefits from reduced taxiing time, improved airport access, increased safety, decreased emissions, and reduced noise are calculated based on the changes in aircraft traffic patterns, (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.
