摘要
The next introduction to education of ECTS-credits entails a deep exercise of thought about the teaching-learning method, because the student is now the basis and is necessary a greater effort making a new educational material for class to achieve long-lasting and significant learnings, with more innovative teaching and interactive methods that make easier to the student search information. Taking this premise as our starting-point, we can construct some self-taught approach practices, which provide the understanding of the subject and they cause an acquisition of knowledge and know what to do, efficient and permanent in the time. Subjects that give the Area of Mechanical Engineering have an eminently practical character, which involves that students should acquire a "know-how", and be able "take the learnt thing in theory to the practice and solution the problems". The idea is to create some laboratory works for these subjects, almost whole in a computer simulation but some just in a work papers with the help of mechanisms available the Area in the Laboratory of Engines of Mechanical Engineering. We try to build a self-taught approach practice that make easier the subject's understanding and they cause a knowledge acquisition and "know-how", efficient and long-lasting in the time.
