AC Breakdown and Frequency Dielectric Response Characteristics of the Mixed Oil-Paper Insulation with Different Moisture Content

摘要
Taking into account the advantageous or unadvantageous properties of mineral oil and natural ester, our team developed a new type of mixed insulating oil with good physical and electrical performances which were derived from mineral oil and natural ester. The moisture effect on the AC breakdown and frequency dielectric response characteristics of mineral oil/paper insulation and mixed insulating oil/paper insulation was compared. The new type of insulating oil has much better AC breakdown behavior than the mineral oil with nearly the same moisture content. The mixed insulating oil impregnated pressboard also shows a higher AC breakdown strength value than mineral oil impregnated pressboard with nearly the same moisture content. the mixed insulating oil impregnated pressboard has higher epsilon'(r) and tan delta values in the 10(1)Hz to 10(6)Hz region.
