摘要：

Spectra and electromagnetic transition for the even-even Gd140-162 isotopes are studied in the framework of the interacting boson model. A schematic Hamiltonian can be used to describe their spectra and transition. The results show that Gd140-162 are in the transition from the vibrational limit to rotational limit.
