摘要
A simple analytic solution of the Euler equations and Navier-Stokes equations is obtained for an axially-propagating wave in a rotating fluid. The solution is obtained by seeking propagating solutions within the class of unbounded solid-body type vortex flows that satisfy the von Karman-Bodewadt similarity principle.
