摘要
Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is without doubt one of the broadly-used composite in these days as an outcome of its high strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance and ease of transportation make them a useful material. The drilling operation is important process for the assembly of large size composite parts. Therefore, choose optimum parameter for the drilling is essential task for the improve drilling quality and reduced drilling defect. In the present paper, optimize drilling procedure used to be accomplished on vertical drilling computer numeric control machine. The parameters taken into consideration for the drilling according to literature review present are spindle speed, feed rate and helix angle of drilling tool. Helix angle of drilling tools assume because of very less work found on this parameter. The RSM (Response surface Methodology) regression equation is used for the mathematical modeling of method parameters in the drilling of CFRP composites. GA (Genetic Algorithm), SA (Simulated Annealing), and PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) has use for optimizing parameters for reduce delamination in the drilling of CFRP composites. This paper suggests the best optimization procedure with in SA, GA, PSO for drilling of CFRP via comparison of outcome and conformation experiment. The ANOVA outcome showed that feed rate and helix angle of tools are the essential influential parameters that affect the drilling quality (de-lamination) within the drilling of CFRP composites.
