摘要
The phase transition of liquid crystal carboxylate was investigated by the low-frequency internal friction (IF) method in forced-vibration mode. One IF peak around the phase transition temperature was observed. The results are discussed on the basis of a simple viscoelastical Maxwell model. A non-linear relationship between the height of the IF peak and the vibration frequency was obtained. The experimental result agrees with this relationship. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A.
