Transient Simulation of the Pulse Excitation of Transmission Line Networks with Linear and Nonlinear Loads in Reverberation Chambers

摘要
A statistical tool is presented that allows to calculate the differential-mode currents and voltages coupled to a transmission line network using a stochastic plane wave excitation in the time domain. The field model is based on a Monte Carlo approach and is able to approximate the field inside reverberation chambers. The transmission line model describes the network by an equivalent circuit that is calculated using modified nodal analysis. The transient simulation allows incorporating linear as well as nonlinear loads at the terminals of the network.
