摘要
In this paper, a wideband mm-wave antenna array with wide angle scanning for 5G applications is proposed. The antenna element can cover the band of 24.25-29.5GHz which is the desired mm-wave bands for 5G applications. Then an eight-antenna array is formed. According to the simulated results, at 26GHz, the proposed antenna array has a maximum gain of 13.6dBi, the scanning angel is -71 degrees - 71 degrees under the condition of 3dB gain down, the scanning angle is -81 degrees - 81 degrees under the condition of 6dB down. At 28GHz, the proposed antenna array has a maximum gain of 14dBi, the scanning angel is -77 degrees - 77 degrees under the condition of 3dB gain down, the scanning angle is -90 degrees -90 degrees under the condition of 6dB down.
