Addition elements and texture gradients in rolled zinc alloys

摘要
The influence of addition elements on the texture variation in rolled zinc alloys was studied. A texture gradient between the surface and the middle of the hot rolled sheet without an asymmetrical computed pole figure was observed. The heterogeneity of the distribution of aluminum strongly influenced the texture. A texture gradient and an asymmetrical computed pole figure were observed on the surface of the sheet after last rolling step. This asymmetry was due to the significant effect of friction and/or shear.
