摘要
It is important to analyze the characteristics of magnetic flux and eddy current on the inner part of an electric machine in order to raise the efficiency of the machine; In general, characteristics of those are investigated using numerical analysis. In this study, we present a novel measuring method of eddy currents on the surface of the sheet iron using a search needle. As the applying model of the measuring method, we have used an eddy current brake that is a new assistance brake system for large sized vehicles.
