Pests of pearl millet (Bajra) and their natural enemies in Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir)

摘要：

Preliminary survey conducted in pearl millet (bajra) Pennisetum typhoides(Staph & Hubbard) growing belt of Jammu during Kharif 1988 revealed the association of several insects and mite pests causing damage to different plant parts at different stages of bajra growth. This survey has also shown the occurrence of some native natural enemies of pests infesting bajra fields. The role of these entomophagous arthropod species needs to be established which will be useful in developing management strategy for important pests of pearl millet.
