摘要
The focus of this work is to present an analytical study of cascaded fractional fuzzy controller (FPIDN-FOPI) to analyze its performance on automatic generation control (AGC) of two area four units restructured power system. AGC is a system, which adjusts output power and frequency change of a generator in the power plants, in response to sudden change in load demand. In this paper, two generating units are considered in each area consisting of thermal with reheat turbine and a gas generating unit. In order to make the system realistic thermal units are equipped with generation rate constraint (GRC). Controller gains are optimized by recently developed Equilibrium Optimizer (EO). System is subjected to step disturbance. Simulation results vindicate the utility of proposed controller by improving the dynamic response in comparison with the prevalent ones.
