Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Fluorescence Properties of Cd(II) Compounds

摘要
The compounds [CdCl(pybma)center dot H2O](n) (1) and [Cd-2(pybma)(2)(OH-BDC)](n) (2) (Hpybma=2-(2-pyridinyl-benzimidazolyl) acetic acid, OH-H2BDC =5-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid) have been synthesized by hydrotherinal methods and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, XRD, TGA, fluorescence, and the crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c. The compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P (1) over bar. Both compounds are two-dimensional (2D) layer structures, furthermore the compound 1 is extended into three-dimensional network by hydrogen bonds. The experimental results show that two compounds have good fluorescence properties and can be used as potential optical materials. CCDC: 751164, 1; 751165, 2.
