摘要
Printed circuit boards (PCB) are widely used in electronics. The usage of PCBs in micro fluidic applications is rare. But this technology has big advantages in comparison to other conventional micro fluidic technologies. In this paper the results of researchers on this topic is presented. An inside view is given at the hand of the fluidic PCB technology from the University of Rostock. The latest development using this technology a Flow-Injection-Analysis is presented. This micro fluidic system can automatically measure the quantity of Fe(3+) Ions in liquids. It consists of a stack of 4 PCBs. All fluidic components like pumps, mixer and detector and the complete electronic are integrated in this stack.
