摘要
A novel tetradentate ligand has been shown to react with Cu(OAc) 2 to form 1, which mimics the active-site structure of galactose oxidase. The reaction of the ligand with Cu(II) depends on the counterions available; the Cu(ClO 4) 2 ligand system gives a phenoxyl radical species and [Cu(CH 3CN) 4]ClO 4 by a disproportionation reaction (see scheme).
