摘要
A stable guanidinium-based organocatalyst was prepared for carbon dioxide capture, which produced useful cyclic carbonates from epoxides under mild conditions. The catalyst was assumed to undergo the cyclic carbonate formation through a route of the nucleophilic activation mechanism.
