摘要
Timing jitter characterization of free-running mode-locked lasers is demonstrated using balanced optical cross-correlation in the timing detector and the timing delay configurations. The limitation set by shot noise is 470 attoseconds in 10-MHz bandwidth. (c) 2008 Optical Society of America
